"Refund sorted without any drama"
I had to ask fotocare.com for a refund and, i was fully expecting the usual back-and-forth because apparently that’s just how these things go now.

To their credit, they replied quickly and didn’t turn it into some grand investigation or ask a ridiculous number of questions. The money was back in my account after a few days, exactly like they said it would be, which was a nice change.

So yeah, mistakes happen, obviously, but they actually handled it properly and kept things simple. Can’t really complain when a company does what it says it’s going to do, so 5 stars from me.

"Decent Visit, Just a Little Slow"
I stopped in to ask about a lens, and the staff was friendly enough. I did end up waiting longer than I expected, and the prices seemed a bit on the high side to me. I got the info I came for, so it wasn’t a bad visit, just not one I’d call especially great.

"Easy order, no real fuss"
I ordered a camera bag from Foto Care, it was a easy experience. I was kind of just browsing at first, then somehow ended up actually checking out, which happens to me more than I’d like to admit.
The site was simple to get through, checkout didn’t give me any trouble, and the tracking info showed up quicker than I expected. The package arrived in good shape too, no dents or weird surprises, which is always nice.

The price seemed fair for what I got. If I need more photo gear later, or if I get pulled into another late-night camera accessory search, I’d probably order from them again

I’m usually a little suspicious when a site says checkout is “seamless” or whatever, because that usually means 12 extra pop-ups. But this was straightforward. I found what I needed, paid quickly, and didn’t run into any weird steps or checkout nonsense

"Fast replies, easy overall"
I had a few questions before I actually placed my order, so I emailed them first. They got back to me quick, not like instant or anything, but defintely faster than a lot of other places I’ve contacted.

The replies were clear and didn’t feel like some copy-paste answer. It actually seemed like a real person read what I wrote, which made the whole process feel a lot less stressful

"Used lens worked, but I had to push a bit on the condition issue"
I bought a used lens from Foto Care and overall it was usable, the glass was clean and it works fine. That said, the body had noticeably more wear than I was expecting based on the listing, so I ended up reaching out because the condition notes really didn’t feel clear enough. Shipping was normal and there wasn’t any drama there, but I do think they need to be more upfront with used gear descriptions. For the price, it wasn’t a total miss, but I wouldn’t call it a great experience either

Sent my camera in to fotocare for a repair and, uh, it was straightforward. They kept me in the loop enough, there wasn’t any hassle, and it came back working just like it should. The price felt fair too. Overall, happy with how it went.

"Stock info ended up being wrong"
I ordered a camera part because the site showed it was in stock, so I figured I was good to go and planned around getting it. A little later, they contacted me and said it actually wasn’t available, which was frustrating because I wouldn’t have placed the order if I’d known that up front. To be fair, they did let me know what was going on, and the refund came through without any drama, so it wasn’t a terrible experience or anything. It just ended up wasting a few days when I could’ve been looking somewhere else. The site itself is fine overall, but I really wish the stock info was more accurate, especially for parts people might need for a specific repair or project.
